Accessories

A kitchen becomes truly practical when you know and build in the useful solutions that today’s technology offers. Here are a few of them.

Pull-out recycling bin in a drawer

Waste bins and recycling systems

The range goes from 11 to 59 litres, from bins mounted on the door or the cabinet floor to recycling systems with 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 10 compartments. The bin cabinet can even open automatically at a touch.

Worktop lighting under the wall cabinets

Kitchen lighting

It is important to see well even without daylight: when preparing food, cooking and washing up. A well-designed kitchen needs both direct and indirect lighting.

Direct lighting is aimed at where you work, so that your hands or body cast no shadow. With indirect (ambient and general) lighting the light source is hidden: the light is reflected from the walls, the ceiling or the furniture. We recommend it on top of the cabinets, along the plinth (for a floating effect) or behind display shelves.

Tip: switch the worktop lighting, the main lighting and the ambient lights separately.

Tidy drawer insert with a cutlery tray

Drawer inserts and cutlery trays

Drawer interiors need to be designed in different ways: cutlery and pans call for a different layout than wine glasses or lids. There also has to be room for food, and everything should be easy to reach, so every kitchen utensil is right where you need it.

Pull-down shelf system in a wall cabinet

Clever storage

The secret of a tidy kitchen is clever storage: we find the ideal place for every utensil and ingredient, so you never have to search, only create. With modern interior dividers and full-extension drawers, even the furthest corner becomes easy to reach.

Wall rail with hooks and an illuminated shelf

Kitchen rails and hooks

A kitchen is above all a place for cooking, but small details make the time spent there a pleasure: kitchen roll near the sink, a knife holder, or the spices you need within arm’s reach of the hob.

Socket recessed into the worktop

Hidden sockets

Besides the wall sockets you may need power elsewhere, for example on the kitchen island or for the coffee machine in the corner. There is a solution for this too, from a wide range of sockets that are recessed into the worktop, pull out or are built into a drawer.
