2. What data do we process and why?

Booking a consultation on the website

We process the data you enter in the booking form (name, phone number, email address, town, type and timing of the project, preferred days, comments and, if you completed it, the result of the kitchen style quiz) solely to contact you, arrange an appointment and prepare the design consultation.

After you submit a form, we send a confirmation email to the address you entered with the details you provided and, if you came from the kitchen style quiz, a link to your visualisation. To prevent abuse (unsolicited messages), the forms are protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.), which checks technical data from the browser for this purpose and does not use cookies for marketing.

• Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• Retention: for up to 1 year after the conclusion of our discussions, or until you withdraw your consent. If we enter into a contract, we keep the data for the period required by the laws on contracts and accounting.

Enquiries by phone and email

If you contact us by phone or email, we process the contact details you provide and the content of your enquiry in order to reply and make arrangements, on the same legal basis and for the same period as above.

3. Data processors

• Email service provider (the rexstudio.hu mailboxes, including automatic emails): Microware Hungary Kft., Fogarasi út 3–5., 1148 Budapest, Hungary

We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use it for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies and local storage

No cookies are needed for the website to work. The result of the kitchen style quiz is stored in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage) so that the booking form can be pre-filled; this data does not reach us unless you submit the form, and it is deleted when you close the browser. Your cookie choice is remembered in the browser’s local storage (localStorage).

Only with your consent, which you can give in the banner that appears, we use the following cookies:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): anonymised measurement of visits (which pages are viewed, where visitors come from). Retention: up to 14 months.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): measuring the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram ads and targeting them. Retention: up to 180 days.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page, or by deleting cookies in your browser settings.

5. Your rights

You may request information about the data we process about you, and ask for it to be corrected, erased or restricted. You may exercise your right to data portability, object to the processing, and withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. Please send your request toinfo@rexstudio.hu, and we will reply within 30 days at the latest.

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH, 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.;naih.hu) or turn to the courts.

6. Data security

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Incoming data can only be accessed by those of our staff who need it to make arrangements with you.
